governor martin o'malley is meeting with leaders from prince george's and montgomery countys and baltimore city today to discuss holding a special session on expanding gambling in the state. there will be more meeting tomorrow. lawmaker need to pass i bill expanding gambling in the state by august 20th in order to get it on the november ballot. >>> howard county police or the hunt for the man accused of going on a shooting spree at an ellicott city spa over the weekend. 35-year-old tuan pham allegedly showed up at the spa where his girlfriend works and shot her and her friend. both victims are still in critical condition. police say they found his car in columbia but it was unoccupied. >>> police have not made any arrests in connection to an attempted robbery that turned into a deadly accident. an armed robber approached people in a car in fairmont height early sunday morning. the people outyou had soo the car were told to get down. car's driver got scared, hit the gas and accidentally drove over one of the people on the ground. he died at the scene. the gunman are still on the loose. loos

. a closer look shows is near dale city moving east. mount vernon will probably get in on some of. that probably the strongest activity tonight has been in and around the baltimore area and some of these storms have been producing a little hail. now we see rotation high in the storm. that could translate to some wind damage as well. we've had a number of reports of trees down. you notice the green here, those are flash flood warnings for baltimore and that area was hard hit last thursday. these flash flood warnings will go for baltimore, baltimore county, carroll and hartford county until 2 a.m. they've had some heavy rain. that's to not say flooding right now is as bad as last week, but another inch or 2 could fall out of some of these storms moving through. that's where the greatest collection of lightning has been. you can see around the rest of the region we're not seeing that much in the way of lightning. we continue to monitor this line of storms, did a lot of damage in the new york city area, but as they moved through our region, they have weakened as we expected as our mod

in washington. overnight temperatures fall back into the 70s and even low 80s in the city. plenty of humidity with the rain we picked up yesterday. 80 in annapolis. 80 in baltimore. 79degrees in leonardtown. let's talk about the jet stream and the big dome of high pressure, we've been talking about for days and days, won't completely move out for the drought ridden west. at least for us, a little dip in the jet stream, cooling us down for the weekend. that process will take a couple of days. clouds in the forecast today with a frontal system, and the risk of a few showers or thunderstorms this afternoon and just like yesterday, one or two of those storms could be on the strong side. look out for that possibility. i don't think it will be as strong as yesterday. but that possibility with the frontal system hanging out in the area. bottom line for the weekend, things look brighterrer and cooler with less humidity. something to look forward to. here's your five-day forecast, as we get into the afternoon hours, possibility of storms and highs in the low 90s. lots of humidity. and there you go for
